Field Engineer - Trainee

Job Summary:
The Engineer provides engineering support to Company fracturingoperations, whileadhering to Company's operational and safety procedures. The Engineer learnsstandard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair, orimprove products, components, or assemblies.
Directly reporting to FieldEngineer or Field Technical Representative
Functionallyreports to District Engineer and Field Engineer Advisor
Job Duties &Essential Functions:
Learns to performon-site quality control while providing oversight of Fluid Technicians with FieldEngineer Advisors.
Work with FieldEngineers to collaborate with Customer Engineers to analyze well conditions andjob requirements.
Communicate withall departments, including operations, through phone calls and sending e-mailsto discuss on/off the job issues.
Programstimulation treatments (slurries/fluids) for each job with supervision fromField Engineer Advisor.
Learn Company FRACequipment while on location. Learn Company Standard Operating Procedures and becomefamiliar with data acquisition and modeling systems.
Comply with all Companysafety rules and Company policies.
Consult withcustomers and the Company sales team regarding all programs, well treatments,and laboratory testing, while making recommendations based on available jobcriteria and previous performance.
Attend allproject team and technical review meetings at the district level.
Learn andmaintain good knowledge of oilfield chemistry.
Learn to createlab requests as required.
Coordinate theefficient use of resources, equipment and job execution at the wellsite.
Learn to developpost job reports under guidance of Engineer for all jobs and make available toall internal Company contacts.
Perform all otherjob duties assigned.
Education &Experience:
4-yearBachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering,Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering degree. (Required)
Successfulcompletion of Field Handbook and Fluids courses. (Required)
Passing amid-term exam and a final exam based on self-paced study material. (Required)

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Field: Thisjob operates mostly in the field with some occasional presence in the office.
Traineemay be required to work in a nine to twelve-hour shifts following a 14/7 or a20/10 rotation. He/she must be flexible to work for extended, non-standardhours whenever there is a requirement.
The jobdemands standing, walking for periods of 12 + hours per day and lifting up to50 lbs.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
Must beauthorized to work in the United States.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
